Shawn’s passion is to help people achieve a healthy lifestyle and to live a pain-free life. He treats patients as young as a baby to those young at heart. He knows that a single approach to treatment does not work for everybody and so he offers a range of modalities including Graston Soft Tissue Technique, Functional Movement Screening, and musculoskeletal manipulation.

His educational background includes five formative years at Delhi District Secondary School, an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology at McMaster University where he exclusively studied the mechanics of the body, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and first met Dr. Martine. His pursuit to learn more knowledge of the human body led to a chiropractic degree at the New York Chiropractic College where he graduated with top honour of Magna Cum Laude. Shawn decided 7 years of post-secondary training wasn’t quite enough and earned a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Sciences. What does this all mean? Shawn is one of the most knowledgeable people you will meet when it comes to understanding how the body works. Not only is he passionate in sharing this knowledge with his patients but he also currently shares this passion with future chiropractors as an instructor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

Shawn is a huge Toronto Blue Jays fan who loves to hang out with his daughter, Julia, and wife, Carissa – also born and raised in Delhi. If he isn’t spending time with his family you can find him out at Long Point Bay trying to catch the next big one
